Tiger Eye Surgery
A unique animal surgery took place at Pantera, a Predatory Animal Care organization in The Netherlands on Juli 7, 2003. Pantera is an animal rescue center for feline predators born or raised in captivity. The Pantera Foundation provides the only facility of it's kind in Europe. This surgery contains an eye-position correction on Ramses, a one year old cross-eyed Bengal Tiger. Due to his handicap, Ramses had difficulties with orientating. As a result of this, Ramses developed a motion disorder that could lead to a curvature of the spine.
